After School Series – Mondays – Baking – Sweet & Savory, for Children 9 – 13 years old

An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Monday, repeating until October 26, 2020
In this fun and informative after school series we’ll learn the basics of baking from scratch. We’ll bake bread, cake, muffins, scones, tarts, cookies and much more as we explore leavening agents, flours and seasonal recipes. On the last day of the series we’ll have a friendly baking competition! Each day we’ll eat everything we bake and make.
This class meets on the following 5 Mondays from 4 – 6pm – September 21st, 28th, October 12th, 19th & 26th. Please note, there will be NO class held on Monday, October 5th.
Please Note: We cook and bake with the very best ingredients we can purchase which may include gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, fish & shellfish. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate for special diets and/or severe allergies in our general cooking classes.
Covid-19 Policies & Protocol – Covid-19 Policies & Protocol – We are limiting classes to ONLY 10 children per session and require masks be worn in the Kitchen unless we’re eating. We will follow protocols set forth by the RI Governor’s Office, Department of Health and Center for Disease Control. *Must have 10 children registered to hold each class series, so invite all of your child’s foodie friends to join the fun!
