Freestyle Cooking & Baking for Children 11 – 14 years old

An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until February 3, 2021
Wednesdays 1/13, 1/20, 1/27 & 2/3 from 4 – 6pm
This class is for children who know their way around the Kitchen and love to experiment and try new ingredients, critically think and who enjoy creative cooking. Each week we’ll start with a counter filled with fresh and dry ingredients and a theme (i.e. Soup, Italian, Grain Bowl, Vegetarian, Cookies, etc.) and a number of recipes for inspiration. The class will divide into 2 teams and each team, using the same ingredients, will come up with an original recipe. We’ll work on writing recipes properly and how to chronicle cooking and baking experiments. And, we’ll enjoy eating everything we make in class.
Covid-19 Policies & Protocol: We are limiting classes to ONLY 8 children per class and require that masks be worn in the Kitchen unless we’re eating. Each child must bring their own apron. We will follow protocols set forth by the RI Governor’s Office, Department of Health and Center for Disease Control. *Must have 6 children registered to hold this class.
4-class series = $168
