Viva l’Italia! Italian Cooking & Baking Camp for Children 8 – 13 years old

In this lively half-day camp we’ll learn to make and bake all of our favorite Italian recipes from scratch including pasta, gnocchi, red sauce, Alfredo sauce, pepper biscuits, meat sauce, risotto, Italian apple cake, tiramisu and much more! For four days we will bake and cook together and on Friday we’ll break into teams and have a friendly cooking competition. Throughout the week we’ll work on organizational skills and cleanliness, learn proper knife skills and essential Kitchen safety and knowledge. We taste everything we make, bake or cook in class and critically evaluate recipes for how we might make them differently or better the next time.
Please Note: We cook and bake with the very best ingredients we can purchase which may include gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, fish & shellfish. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate for special diets and/or severe allergies in our cooking camps.
Covid-19 Policies & Protocol – We are limiting camps to 12 children per session and will follow protocols set forth by the RI Governor’s Office, Department of Health and Center for Disease Control.
