CHILDREN’S SUMMER CAMP

Does your child love to bake and/or cook or is interested in learning more? In our lively and creative hands-on classes we teach basic cooking and baking skills, try different and unusual foods and learn to navigate recipes from easy to complex. In the first class we’ll make Ms. Mary’s favorite recipes and for the next three classes we’ll make the student’s favorite recipes. The last class is a friendly cooking competition where students team up and combine the skills and recipes they’ve learned in the previous weeks to create something creative and delicious. It’s so much fun! We teach organizational skills and cleanliness in the kitchen, as well as proper knife skills and essential safety knowledge. We taste everything we make, bake and cook in class and critically evaluating each recipe for how we might make it differently or better the next time. Always emphasizing healthy and whole foods, we give children the tools they’ll need to make healthier lifestyle choices throughout their lives.

Please Note: We cook and bake with the very best ingredients we can purchase which may include gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, fish & shellfish. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate for special diets and/or severe allergies in our general cooking classes.
