Tuesdays 4 – 6pm    October 21st – November 25th, 2025

In this popular weekly after school cooking class we’ll create a balanced meal and enjoy eating and discussing it together. On day one we’ll take a poll to determine all of the favorite recipes we love to eat, but don’t know how to cook or bake. The most popular ones will determine our menus for the next 4 weeks as we enjoy making, cooking and baking delicious dishes together. On the last day of classes we’ll break into teams and hold a friendly cooking competition. Throughout all of the classes we teach knife skills, kitchen safety and how to keep the kitchen neat and clean.

$270/child for 6 week series

Please Note:

We cook and bake with the very best ingredients we can purchase which may include gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy, fish & shellfish. Unfortunately, we can not accommodate for special diets and/or severe allergies in our cooking camps. If you would like to schedule a private class, please contact us.

Cancellation Policy

• •If you can not make it to a class for whatever reason, and you contact us any time prior to the class, and we can “resell” your seat in the class, Newport Cooks will give you a full refund in the form of a future class credit or a check for the purchase price of the class. 
• •If you can not make it to a class for whatever reason and you contact us at least one week in advance, and we can not fill your seat, you will receive a credit of 40% of the class price toward a future class. 
• •If you do not show up for a class and make no effort to contact us, there is no refund, for in good faith, we have held a seat open for you. Very much like a concert, the theater or any other event where a tremendous amount of advance planning is made on your behalf, our cooking classes require that ingredients be purchased and that the Chef is prepared to teach & have enough food available based on advanced registration numbers.
